Balakot is very important for Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azar,

 and has a very interesting history, connecting the Taliban, the fanatical Wahabi Sunni Islamic ideology, Rae-bareli in Uttar Pradesh, & valiant Sikh warriors. This is where today’s #SurgicalStrike2 was carried out by the #IndianAirForce.

Syed Ahmed Barelvi, a deeply religious man, was born in Rae-bareli in 1786. He was an ardent admirer of the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb, & was perturbed by decline of the Mughals & rise of the infidel rulers - Marathas & Sikhs in India.

Syed Barelvi wanted to establish an Islamic caliphate in the Indian sub-continent, & hence decided to wage a Jihad against the then rulers of our land who weren’t followers of Islam. He is one of India’s earliest home grown terrorists.

With total faith in his mission, he moved to #Balakot, to wage jihad against Maharaja Ranjith Singh, who ruled what is the NWFP in Pakistan today. This is 1st recorded jihad inspired by the fanatical Sunni-Wahabi Islamic ideology.

Syed Barelvi thought that the Muslims in that region, aided by citizens of a Muslim nation in the neighbourhood (Afghanistan) will support in his mission of establishing an Islamic state & fighting against a Sikh ruler.

 

Syed Barelvi reached #Balakot in 1831, he was 46. He formed an army of Mujahideen forces, hoped to defeat Maharaja Ranjit Singh, & decided to move into Kashmir. The Sikhs came to know of it & started marching towards Barelvi’s men in #Balakot.

Syed Barelvi had laid a trap at #Balakot for the Sikh soldiers, when they prepared marshy paddy fields in which the Sikh forces would get stuck. However the commander of Sikh forces, Sher Singh, was shrewd and waited for Barelvi's men to move first & fall into his own trap.

When one of Barelvi’s men moved forward & got stuck in the marshy field, his troops followed & were completely ensnared in the slush. The Sikhs then zeroed in on them, & killed about 1300 mujahideen’s in the day long battle.

Along with Syed Barelvi, the battle at #Balakot also saw the death of Shah Ismail Saeed, who comes from a family that was influenced by Sheikh Sirhindi – the religious fanatic who killed the 5th Sikh Guru Arjun Dev.

Maulana Mazood Azar considers Syed Barelvi as his hero & feels an emotional connection with #Balakot – place where the 1st jihad inspired by the Wahabi Sunni ideology was fought.

सोशल मीडियावर आपण जोक्स व्हायरल करतो, इथपर्यंत सर्वकाही ठीक आहे. पण, सद्यस्थित काळजीपूर्वक विचार आपण कृत्य केलं पाहिजे. कारण, आज देश हाय अलर्टवर आहे. एकक्षण थांबा आणि देशाचा, सैन्याचा विचार करा.

कुठल्याही विमानतळ, रेल्वेस्थानक किंवा सरकारी कार्यालयाचे फोटो शेअर करू नका. 

भारतीय जवानांसदर्भातील सेन्सेटीव्ह असा कुठलाही व्हिडीओ ग्रुपवर शेअर करू नका आणि तसं करणाऱ्यांनाही बजावून ठेवा. 

तुम्ही स्वत: सतर्क राहा आणि काहीही अनुचित प्रकार होत असल्याची कुणकुण लागताच, संबंधित किंवा लोकल सुरक्षा यंत्रणांशी संपर्क साधा. 

तुम्ही प्रवास करत असताना देशातील सुरक्षा जवानांनी तुमची चेकिंग केल्यास, त्यांच्याशी हुज्जत घालू नका. विमानतळ, रेल्वेस्थानक किंवा बस स्थानकावर CRPF जवानांना सहकार्य करा. 

देशाला तुमची गरज आहे, त्यासाठी तुम्ही तयार राहा. देशहित लक्षात घेऊन आपलं योगदान देण्याचा प्रयत्न करा. सुरक्षितता आणि वाहतुकीचे नियम पाळा. 

एक भारतीय म्हणून आपल्या संपर्कातील इतर नागरिकांनाही याबाबत जागरूक बनवा, लहान मुले, तरुण, कुटुंबातील सदस्य, नातेवाईक यांमध्ये जनजागृती करा. तसेच या युद्धजन्य परिस्थितीत प्रत्येकाने आपलं काम चोखपणे आणि देशहित लक्षात घेऊ केलं पाहिजे.

WINNING INFORMATION WAR AGAINST PAKISTAN & TERRORISM ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Dear Indians,

After the surgical Strike 2 by the Indian Air Force on terrorist camps in Pakistan, information war has broken out in every Indians house who is on the social media with a smart telephone. The TV media is busy giving a ball by ball commentary of War like situation on the Kashmir front. Many Indians think that it is some kind of a IPL cricket match which is going on , with very large number of experts giving opinion on the TV media with inaccurate information, less information and giving instant judgement when no judgement should be given. Lot of Indians are busy in circulating unconfirmed information gained from Pakistani media,certain videos floating on the YouTube thereby creating an atmosphere of despondency in the in the society. This must stop the Smartphone and the social media has made everybody a newspaper senior editor of  print media , TV anchor all rolled into one. The tremendous power given in our hands by smart phones & social media must be used carefully to benefit the nation and thereby helping the armed forces to fight a very difficult Battle against Pakistan. Late us all resolve to become responsible editors while writing post on the social media, responsible TV anchors while posting videos.

In good old times during war the Government of the day used to impose censorship on newspapers radio and all forms of media. Time has now come to impose self imposed censorship on all of us so that this tremendous power of the social media is not misused.Certain do's and don'ts are given in the succeeding paragraph let all offers become responsible citizens, responsible editors responsible TV anchors there by winning the information war and not spreading dis- information which will in the long run harm our national interest Please spread this message to as many  friends, relations  as possible

Do not be a soft Target

A humble request, we should be  now more careful and alert as there may be retaliation from Pakistan with terrorist targeting  our civilian areas with bombs placed in markets area. Trains or malls can be soft targets. So request all citizen and specially youngsters to be extra alert. For unattended bags or packets.

पुलवामामधील हल्ल्याचा बदला - ब्रिगेडियर हेमंत महाजन (निवृत्त)

पुलवामामधील हल्ल्याचा बदला घेणार, हे भारताने ठणकावून सांगितल्यानंतर प्रत्युत्तराची भाषा करणार्‍या पाकिस्तानला  भारतीय वायुसेनेने केलेल्या एअर स्ट्राईकने धडकी भरली असल्यास नवल नाही. पाकिस्तानच्या रडार यंत्रणा, विमानलक्ष्यी प्रणाली यांना जराही सुगावा न लागता अवघ्या 20 मिनिटांत भारताच्या 12 विमानांनी जवळपास 1000 किलो बॉम्बंचा वर्षाव करत पाकव्याप्त काश्मीरमधील दहशतवाद्यांचे काही तळ बेचिराख केले आहेत.  ही कारवाई अत्यंत जोखमीची, धाडसी असूनही ती यशस्वी केल्याबद्दल भारतीय वायुसेना आणि राजकीय नेतृत्त्व अभिनंदनास पात्र आहे.पाकिस्तानातील
बालाकोट, चाकोटी व मुझफ्फराबाद इथं 'जैश-ए-मोहम्मद'च्या तळांवर आज पहाटे भारतीय हवाई
दलाच्या मिराज विमानांनी बॉम्बवर्षाव केला. यात २०० ते ३०० दहशतवादी मारले गेले
आहेत. त्यात 'जैश'च्या अनेक
कमांडर्सचाही समावेश आहे.

पुलवामाच्या हल्ल्यानंतर सरकारने पाकिस्तानवर हल्ला करून त्यांना धडा शिकवण्याचा निर्णय घेतला होता. त्याचा बदला म्हणून पुलवामाच्या हल्ल्याशी संबंधित असणार्‍या तीन दहशतवाद्यांना कंठस्नान घालण्यात आले. त्यापाठोपाठ जैश-ए- मोहम्दच्या आणखी तीन दहशतवाद्यांना मारण्यात भारतीय सैन्याला यश मिळाले. मात्र पाकिस्तानला धडा शिकवण्यास ही कारवाई निश्चितच पुरेशी नव्हती. दुसरीकडे देशभरातूनही पाकिस्तानला चोख प्रत्युत्तर द्या असा सूर उमटत असल्यामुळे दबाव वाढत होता. उरीवरील हल्ल्यानंतर केलेल्या सर्जिकल स्ट्राईकमुळे यावेळी पाकिस्तान जाणून होता की, आता भारत दहशतवाद्यांच्या ट्रेनिंग कॅम्पवर हल्ला करणार.  त्यामुळेच त्यांनी  सीमेरेषेपासून 20 ते 25 किमीच्या आत असणारे दहशतवाद्यांचे ट्रेनिंग कॅम्प सर्जिकल स्ट्राईक होऊ नये म्हणून 50-60 किमी आतमध्ये नेले होते. साहजिकच ते भारतीय तोफखान्याच्या कक्षेच्या बाहेर गेले होते. हे लक्षात घेऊन भारताने एक मोठा सामरिक निर्णय घेतला आणि पाकव्याप्त काश्मीरमध्ये हल्ला करण्यासाठी हवाईदलाचा वापर केला.

मंगळवारी पहाटे दीड ते चारच्या दरम्यान भारतीय हवाईदलाच्या 12 मिराज विमानांनी पाकव्याप्त काश्मीरात जाऊन बॉम्बवर्षाव करत दहशतवाद्यांचे तळ बेचिराख केले. यामध्ये 1000 किलो वजनाचे लेझर गायडेड बॉम्ब वापरण्यात आलेले आहेत. या हल्ल्यासाठीची वेळ अतिशय चांगल्या पद्धतीने निवडलेली होती. रात्री 3:30 वाजता हल्ला केल्यामुळे सर्व दहशतवादी हे गाफिल अवस्थेत झोपलेले होते. वास्तविक,
पाकिस्तानी एअरपोर्ट अलर्टवर होते. असे सांगितले जात होते की पाकिस्तानची विमाने हवेमध्ये घिरट्या घालत आहेत. परंतु त्यांना आणि पाकिस्तानच्या रडार्स यंत्रणांना चुकवून भारतीय लढाऊ विमानांनी अचानक हल्ला केला. भारतीय विमाने पाकिस्तानच्या आत जाऊन 20 मिनिटांच्या आत भारतीय हद्दीत परत आली. त्यामुळे पाकिस्तानला प्रत्युत्तर द्यायला वेळच मिळाला नाही. त्यांची लढाऊ विमाने काहीही करू शकली नाहीत.

या हल्ल्यात दहशतवाद्यांचे मोठे नुकसान झाले आहे, याबाबत भारतीय वायुदलाचे आणि सैन्य दलाचे कौतुक करावयासच हवे; पण त्यापेक्षाही  अधिक महत्त्वाची बाब म्हणजे या अत्यंत गोपनीय अशा कारवाईमध्ये भारतीय हवाइ
दलाचे कोणतेही नुकसान झालेले नाही. तसे पाहता हे मिशन अत्यंत जोखमीचे होते. पाकिस्तानच्या रडार यंत्रणांना किंवा सैन्याला
दहशतवाद्यांना जराही सुगावा लागला असता तर त्यांच्याकडून प्रतिहल्ला झाला असतात. पाकिस्तानकडे अँटी एअरक्राफ्ट प्रणाली आहे. दहशतवाद्यांकडेही अत्याधुनिक शस्रसामग्री असते. त्यामुळे या मोहिमेबाबत थोडीशी जरी कुणकुण लागली असती किंवा कारवाईसाठी अधिक अवधी लागला असता तर भारतीय विमानांचे नुकसान करण्याचा प्रयत्न झाला असता. कारगिलच्या युद्धामध्ये पाकिस्तानने विमानभेदी प्रणालीच्या साहाय्याने भारताची दोन मिग विमाने पाडली होती, हे याठिकाणी लक्षात घ्यायला हवे. मात्र तरीही वायुसेनेने अत्यंत कुशलतेने, अत्यंत सुनियोजितपणाने ही कारवाई यशस्वी केली आहे.

या कारवाईचे दुसरे वैशिष्ट म्हणजे केवळ दहशतवाद्यांच्या तळांनाच लक्ष्य करण्यात आले आहे. कारण आपला हेतू स्वच्छ आणि स्पष्ट होता. पाकिस्तानच्या नागरिकांना ठार मारण्यात भारताला जराही स्वारस्य नाही. आपल्याला केवळ भारतात दहशतवादी कारवाया करणार्‍यांना टिपायचे होते. त्यानुसार पाकिस्तानी नागरी वस्त्यांना वगळत केवळ दहशतवादी तळांना लक्ष्य करण्यात आले आणि उपलब्ध माहितीनुसार सुमारे 300 दहशतवाद्यांना यमसदनी धाडण्यात आले आहे.जैश-ए-मोहम्मदचा
म्होरक्या मसूद अजहर याचा मेव्हणा मौलाना युसुफ अझहर या या प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमाचे
नेतृत्त्व करत होता. या तळांवर जहशतवाद्यांना प्रशिक्षण देण्याचे काम सुरू होते.
या प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमात दहशतवादी, आत्मघातकी
हल्लेखोर आणि विविध गटांचे प्रमुख यांचा समावेश होता  

ही कारवाई गरजेची असली आणि अत्यंत यशस्वीपणाने पार पडली असली तरी हवाईदलाच्या अशा एका सर्जिकल स्ट्राईकने दहतशवाद्यांचे कॅम्प संपणार नाहीत. कारण पाकिस्तान हा दहशतवादी तयार करणारा एक मोठा कारखाना आहे. आजही पाकव्याप्त काश्मीरमध्ये  40 ते 50 ट्रेनिंग कॅम्प पाकिस्तानमध्ये आहेत. प्रत्येक वर्षी 2000 ते 3000
दहशतवादी तयार करण्याची पाकिस्तानची क्षमता आहे. म्हणून दहशतवादविरुद्धची ही लढाई आपल्याला दीर्घकाळ लढावी लागेल.

तथापि, या हल्ल्यामुळे एक गोष्ट निश्चितच झाली आहे ती म्हणजे पाकिस्तानचा भ्रमाचा भोपळा फुटला आहे.

पाकिस्तानकडे अणुबाँम्ब असल्यामुळे आपण अशा प्रकारचे हल्ले करू शकत नाही, असा पाकिस्तानचा आणि आपल्याकडील काही तथाकथित तज्ज्ञांचा होरा होता. पण या कारवाईने पाकिस्तानला जबरदस्त धक्का बसला आहे. अण्वस्र हल्ल्यांची भीती दाखवत भारताला आजवर ब्लॅकमेलिंग करत दहशतवादी हिंसाचार घडवून आणणार्‍या पाकिस्तानला या कारवाईने योग्य तो संदेश पोहोचला आहे. भारत यापुढे बोटचेपी भूमिका घेऊन संयमाने राहणार नाही. आमचे दहा मारले तर तुमचे 100 मारू, हीच भारताची नीती असेल, असाही या कारवाईचा गर्भितार्थ आहे. यासाठी राज्यकर्त्यांचेही कौतुक केले पाहिजे. परंतु यापुढेही ही लढाई खूप वेळ चालणार आहे. म्हणून आता आपल्याला दीर्घकालीन लढाईसाठी तयार राहिले पाहिजे. यामध्ये राजकीय पक्षांची आणि सर्वसामान्यांची भूमिका ही अतिशय महत्त्वाची आहे. त्यांनी सैन्याच्या मागे उभे राहिले पाहिजे.

दहशतवादी हल्ल्यांचा बदला घेण्यासाठी आतापर्यंत आपण पायदळाचा वापर करत होतो. यावेळी पहिल्यांदा भारताने हवाई दलाचा वापर केला आहे. यापुढील काळात गरज पडल्यास भारत आपल्याकडील  जग्वार, सुखोई आदी अत्याधुनिक विमानांचा, शस्रसामग्रीचा वापर करू शकतो. आज पाकव्याप्त काश्मीरमध्ये कारवाई केली आहे; पण उद्या पाकिस्तानच्या आत कुठल्याही टार्गेटवर ही विमाने हल्ला करू शकतात, हे लक्षात घ्यायला हवे. या कारवाईनंतर पाकिस्तानही हवाई हल्ला करेल, अशी भीती काही जण व्यक्त करत आहेत; पण भारतावर हवाई हल्ला करण्याची पाकिस्तानची क्षमता नाही. त्यांनी जर भारतावर हल्ला केला तर त्यांचे विमान हे परत पाकिस्तानात जाणार नाही ही काळ्या दगडावरची पांढरी रेष आहे.
