But did you know who he was..??Let me take you down memory lane..!! He was an ex-NDA, bright and sporty, chirpy and smart , crisp and clear. *Had eyes full of dream and why not when he had defied problems back home to be there.* *His father was a farmer, had small time apple business. Always feared trouble back home but never showed. Had faith and hope like majority of young men and women of Kashmir who wanted peace and stability.* Hated people who were creating trouble and didn't spare a word to denigrate them. What a spirit he had for his land and his country. *We fought in sports, debated and he let me win - said I will win the battle for life. You won it brother and created the defining moment for the majority of Kashmiri who stand by you.* Was likely to go for Young Officers Course in Sep 17. Was part of Hockey Team of NDA, excellent volleyball player. Physically tough, troops enjoyed being with him. He would make them laugh and give them a run for their money. Burial of the Martyr Lt Ummer Fayaz completed at 1300 hr. Approx 4000 civilians and 250 army persons attended incl two Commanding Officers. Guard of honour was given and rounds fired by soldiers as gun salute. Wreaths were laid on behalf of senior Army and Civil officials. *As this message .....beamed on Television I felt as if a part of me had left me.* My mother and sister had cried inconsolably since early morning . He was my course mate. *What crime did he commit? Join Indian Army ? Don't think so.* All those pro Pakistani friends may help us know why he was killed. Did majority of Kashmir wanted him dead. No not at all. I am perplexed. *WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN HIDING SINCE MORNING MY LEARNED PAKISTANI STOOGES ???? WE ARE MISSING YOUR MUSINGS AND COMNENTS.* Now pl tell me what did Fayaz do??? Young officer was not on mission to kill so called freedom fighters. Now where is your Insaniyat, Kashmiriyat or Sufiyat . Is it only meant for Indian Army. *Once again its been proved that terrorists are not fighting for Kashmir but for themselves on our adversaries insistence and to fill the pockets of ilks like Geelani, Mirwaiz and Malik.* *Pseudo intellects and politicians like Mrs Shabnam lone . Mr Samir Koul , The great Abdullahs, MLA Engineer Rashid and omnipresent Hurriyat guys and all those stone pelters if you have something human left in your soul rise n awake. Or are you dead ??? Fayaz's sister asks you , have you lost it..?? We are not like this and can never be berated like this.
