Although India has never lost a war with Pakistan, they have Azad Kashmir under Pak occupation .India should be never complacent, with regard to Pakistan, till such time a sea change comes in their attitude and they dont teach in their schools that India is their enemy. Musraf had started to change the educational curriculum, but before the change could come out, he was out.

Books debasing and demeaning India.
Pakistan has been distorting its own history for almost five decades. Disowning a South Asian heritage, looking for ideological inspiration from West Asia and genetic lineage from Central Asia, it has become an aggregation of a confused mix of entities. Starting with an assumption that religion can be a unifying force, Pakistan went on with the blind process of dissolving ethnic identities hoping that history can be rewritten to normalise the natural differences. Language, culture and history have been discarded as unnecessary nuisances. History is replete with examples of recurrent fault lines based on the same nuisances. Nation states make the same mistakes again and again and learn the same lessons at great cost. Language, culture and history are embedded in the collective memory of civilizations. They may remain dormant for centuries but may resurface with devastating consequences for a social order which is an artificial construct. Pakistan is most welcome to deny its heritage. That will just be an illusion without any bearing on realities.Brigadier Javed Hassan (who retired a Major General), while at the Faculty of Research and Doctrinal Studies (FORAD) at the Command and Staff College in Quetta, conducted and published a study titled India: A Study in Profile (Rawalpindi: Services Book Club, 1990). In this volume, the author derides India by arguing that India is not a nation, characterizing India’s past as having a “total absence of any popular resistance against foreign domination and rule”, denounces the Indians as “less warlike”, attributes India’s military failures to “racial shortcomings”, among other derogatory characteristics of Hindus and Hinduism. Pakistan has never ever won a war against India. And they will never ever win one, if they happen to teach such kind of material in their military academy. Distorted history is being taught to children in schools. They believe that by indoctrinating people with hatred towards india they can preserve their pakistani Identity. Pakistan for them is antithesis of India.
