​​नियंत्रण रेषेजवळ (LoC) झालेल्या या चकमकीत हिमाचल प्रदेशातील सुभेदार संजीव कुमार, उत्तराखंडचे हवलदार देवेंद्र सिंह, हिमाचल प्रदेशचे पॅरा ट्रुपर बाळ कृष्ण, उत्तराखंडचे पॅरा ट्रुपर अमित कुमार आणि राजस्थानचे छत्रपाल सिंह हे शहीद झाले. पण त्यापूर्वी या जवानांनी ५ दहशतवाद्यांचा जागेवरच खात्मा केला.


In an anti-infiltration operation in Keran sector of North Kashmir, Indian security forces eliminated five terrorists attempting to infiltrate across the Line of Control (LOC) by taking advantage of the bad weather, reports India Today.
The security forces displayed exemplary might and bravery overcoming the inclement weather and hostile terrain. One soldier was martyred during the operation, as per the report.
It should be noted that nine terrorists have been killed by Indian Army in last 24 hrs in Kashmir valley.
Yesterday (4 April), the security forces gunned down four militants in the Kulgam district's Man Gori village of the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) in an operation, reported The Hindu.
The bodies of three of the killed militants were recovered earlier in the day. However, the fourth body could be recovered only later as it was trapped amidst the debris of the house which was destroyed in the operation. The militants were holed up in the said house.
The operation was conducted by a joint search party of the Indian Army forces, J&K Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
The encounter marked the first such operation carried out by the security forces in Kulgam in over 11 months. The police have alleged that the killed militants were responsible for the killing of four civilians in the Kulgam district within the last 15 days
