On 4 Dec 2021 we were down at rock bottom. But we weren’t out. What followed was a nightmare of almost 8 months when our wings were clipped. We had no opportunities. Something had to give and entered B team with an old plan made as team cdr to go across without permission and eliminate three SS Lts of PLA involved in ambush on CO 46 AR and family.

The op was almost ‘unbelievable’ .

What followed was unprecedented ops changing the complete dynamics of Meitei insurgency.

We excelled in Conventional, in Exs, ideas and innovations in every field we could. And finally on advice of previous Army Cdr we sent our unit citation for a time pd on 20 months starting 1 Jan 22 for obvious reasons.

We were clear cut for COAS unit citation. Notwithstanding, we have been rewarded with GoC-N-C EC unit citation.

Complete army is talking about the unbelievable turnaround of 21 Para SF. You must be very proud.

I wish to say the hardwork, toil and perseverance of the offrs, JCOs and men has prevailed. Especially the offrs.

What is most important though is that we have already made massive strides towards the next citation and i assure everyone there isn’t going to be any stopping us.
